The smile on the photo tells it all. HS Store based in Plumstead is a busy convenience store very popular with over 8,000 product lines. When we first visited there were long queues and the store was using a basic till. The owner at first was reluctant to change to a scanning system but after seeing the SX-680 in action and how simple the till is to use and being assured of the quality support that we provide to all our customers he decided to give it a go. New Horizon supported the installation providing a 5,000 product Bookers cash and Carry file preloaded into an SX-680 with an Orbital Scanner, with only prices to change, and the owner scanned in the remaining items using the fantastic bar code learning system. What a transformation - the queue build up is non existant, takings are up and so is profit, the owner can take a break and leave the shop under staff control with full security. If ever there was a case of a scanning system working HS Store is a prime example, so make sure if you are in the area pay this store a visit as this is one place you won't be queuing long.
