Geller ECRs: SX-585SX-585 Pro is priced to be used as a simple, stand-alone cash register. But SX-585 Pro is powerful enough to be used as an entry-level EPOS system with scanning for 20,000 price look ups and connection to back office/head office sales and management software in-house or via Internet.
Raised Keyboard or Flat Keyboard Model SX-595 Pro has the same specification as Model SX-585 Pro but has a spill-resistant, 173- position flat keyboard. Retailers who do not use David Professional Software to make price and product name changes via a PC, often prefer the flat keyboard. They use it like a typewriter to enter product names using the extra buttons available on the flat keyboard.
Good-looking and functional The textured wipe-clean, semi-matt finish is attractive, durable and does not show finger marks.
Displays The 10 digit alphanumeric front and rear displays describe items by name and give user-friendly prompts to staff to ease and speed service.
Drop and Load Silent Printer The hi-tech ‘drop and load' 16-character printer mechanism, with separate 58 mm thermal receipt and audit rolls, simplifies and speeds paper roll changes and eliminates paper jams. There is no ribbon to replace or fade, so receipts of the he same exceptional clarity are produced every time.
Low cost Scanning Model SX-585 Pro's memory can hold up to 20,000 sales items as price look ups. You can enter sales manually on the keyboard by registering the Price Look Up number. Or, you can scan bar coded items for high-speed sales. A range of low cost scanners is available for the SX-585 Pro. On request, your dealer can supply you with a pre-loaded general retailing file containing 17,000= popular products.
Bar Code Learning If you come across an unprogrammed item - even in the middle of a sale - ‘Price' displays on the screen. After you enter the price and press the department, subsequent sales of the item will scan in the normal way, showing the price and department name. Bar code names and prices can also be entered by PC.
Powerful Management Reporting A wide choice of clear, concise Management reports provides the information you need to control your business. A series of pre-selected Reports can be programmed to print at the touch of a button. |
