Hi-TouchThe Ultra Low Voltage semi-integrated system for retailThe Ultra Low Voltage, energy efficient Hi-Touch is ideal for the environmentally aware retailer. The low noise design is suitable for noise-intolerant environments while its compact size and variety of available peripherals delivers a fully flexible system which can be optimised to suit your needs.
Technology is now an essential ingredient for effective operations in retail and hospitality. In these highly active, demanding and cost conscious environments it is essential that technology supports staff and serves customers through a combination of hardened design and high performance specification.
The Hi-Touch is a fan-less system with the result that it is effectively noise-free, and fits ideally into either the restaurant/hospitality or retail environments. The elimination of a fan removes one of the common potential failure points of a system where dirt and dust builds up in the fan cavity area, whilst the bright 15” screen has a IP43 rating to prevent water seepage into the unit – an important consideration for the hospitality sector. With regards to both ergonomics and environmental considerations the Hi-Touch again delivers – having a small footprint, ideal for the customer service environment and utilizing a chip set and CPU which deliver economies from low power usage. The whole system can also incorporate a customer facing screen for feeding price/sale information or advertising.
The Hi-Touch can be also delivered with pre-installed with the dedicated retail/hospitality Microsoft operating system WEPOS. This provides a software environment that is more economic than other operating systems and provides a platform that has been specifically designed for point of sale.
