Bramley's Bar, in Canterbury, opened during 2007, and aimed to do "something a bit different" in the centre of Canterbury. It achieved exactly that by drawing on the vast wealth of history of Canterbury, mixed in with some unusual and enthusiastic ideas from the bar's creators. Walking into Bramley's Bar is a little like stepping back in time - the building in which it resides has certainly been standing for quite some time, and the interior decor has been skilfully perfected over a period of time with pieces of household and industrial equipment from yesteryear carefully placed to complete the effect of stepping back in time. The creators of Bramley's Bar approached us in 2007 for a cost effective cash register solution for their new business. We were happy to help, and specified the Geller SX-690, which allowed the entire drinks menu to be pre-programmed by New Horizon Systems prior to installation. This made for simple use and easy training of all staff members, while allowing product and price changes to be easily undertaken. Following the success of Bramley's Bar, we were again approached by its creators in December of last year, as they were looking to upgrade to an EPOS system. Again, we were able to fulfil their requirements, and provided a black Geller TS-3500 touch screen, running the proven Geller Touch Lite software. This highly flexible software means that every aspect of the day-to-day use of the EPOS system is considerably easier than their previous cash register solution, saving time and money both in training costs, and time spent on administrative tasks. Such progression is surely an indicator of the high levels of support and quality of equipment supplied, along with excellent customer satisfaction - something that we at New Horizon Systems pride ourselves on.
